Happy Stitches offers lessons in Quilt Making Techniques, Basic Sewing, Garment Construction, Beginning Knitting, and Beginning Crochet. Sewing machines, necessary notions and equipment are provided along with a precut kit. For the Knitting and Crochet classes, needles, hooks and yarn are provided for the projects. We aspire to provide our customers with a “Make and Take” experience. Customers can come into our shop, use the provided equipment and a prepackaged kit to make a project and take it away completed. Classes are limited. Pre-registration is recommended.
About The Intsructors:
Debbie Golden has knitted, crocheted, sewn, quilted and crafted for more than 30 years. Taking classes in each of the specialties and practicing the crafts provide comfort and relaxation in her life. Pocahontas has provided the perfect respite for developing the skills to a level needed to pass them on to friends and neighbors.
Vicky Powers has a lifetime of experience in sewing, quilting and crafting. Her generosity with charity quilts, machine embroidery and sewing are well known and appreciated. She is now making her expertise available to local crafters.

In addition to the scheduled classes, Happy Stitches also offers Custom Machine Embroidery services, Custom Quilts and Bags, and Private Lessons in any of our specialties. We also offer special group/organization arrangements and Gift Certificates.
Custom embroidery items, quilts and knitted or crocheted items will be available occasionally.
